Serge Krynytsia is an artist, who with the help of his camera cognizes the world around him, materializes a sunny and foggy mood of an autumn afternoon, an awe-inspiring impression of an Alpine dawn or a salty taste of a sea-surf.
Besides, photography is a means of preserving of historical memory. Period buildings of Lviv and Kiev that had steadfastly stood the centuries of whirling human passions and old wooden churches in a Carpathian village guard the recollections of ancestors unobtrusively passing them on to the descendants.
